Shorelines provide essential habitat for many plant and animal species. Protecting and enhancing these important corridors is important work. You can help protect your local shoreline by:

    • Organize a shoreline clean-up day
    • Monitor water quality, animals and plant
    • Initiate a restoration project

Backyard Action
For Your Garden Make your garden a natural habitat garden and share it with local wildlife. Instead of planting lawns and non-native species, re-create the natural ecosystem specific your area.
