Get Involved in Lost Gear

Lost Gear or "Ghost Gear" is a marine debris concern globally, but in BC, there isn't much known about it.  At TBuck, we're working to map gear loss in BC to get a sense of the scale of the problem, and to understand the context for gear loss. We will be hosting workshops and one on one calls throughout November and December 2020 to gather this data. If you are interested in joining a workshop or speaking with our team, please sign up.

Starting in March 2021, we will be conducting gear retrieval projects. We're looking for fishermen to take part in these projects. If you're interested, please sign up below.

We will contact you shortly with more information.
