In autumn 2017 a massive pesticide application along the 150 km CN Skeena rail corridor resulted in numerous and extensive apparent violations threatening key habitat for spawning salmon. TBuck launched a campaign in response to ensure the law was appropriately enforced following CN’s dangerous pesticide application. We have been involved in pollution prevention work since our founding in 1981. The documents in this page comprise different aspects of this work that don't fit easily in other parts of our publications page.

We have successfully pushed for policy reforms to reduce oceanic plastic pollution, including commissioning two reports proposing policy solutions to the issue that helped the federal government develop it's 2019 anti-single-use plastic legislation. We have also written on the issue.
